Advances in computer graphics algorithms and virtual reality (VR) systems have allowed us to combine this with full body motion capture systems, haptic modules and physiological measurement systems. This enables us to to deliver VR solutions in the fields of neuroscience and psychology. Although VR has been shown to be a useful tool for exploring body ownership illusions, integrating the various technologies necessary for such a system can be daunting, we are experimenting full virtual embodiment environments. We extended VR systems with the introduction of real-time motion capture and haptics system. We are now in the process of integrating physiological and brain electrical activity recordings.

Assessment and Training Centres will in future rely predominantly rely on embodiment lab technologies for psychometric testing, where candidates are examined to determine their suitability for specific types of employment, especially workers mining and manufacturing environments. The candidates' personality and aptitudes are determined by techniques including interviews, group exercises, presentations, examinations and psychometric testing. Virtual Embodiment systems will become the standard for psychometric testing.
